Planning for S-West

The Brain Trust
The Die-Cast Entry

We met at Dave’s home. There was a lot of show and tell – Bill brought some “historical” cast F3 shells (one bronze one aluminum), Michael showed pictures from the Los Altos Train Days (this show was on the same day), Ed showed the Monster Models brick yard tower and a Harriman passenger car roof casting, Robert had his new audio line speaker product (Rumbling Rails). Robert is trying to connect with the die-cast community – which has more 1/64 modelers than we do in the model railroad community. He showed several models he had bashed together – really well done.

Discussion (the brain trust) centered on how we might improve our participation in S-West. Things happen fast – long lead times – and we are trying to get the right processes in motion.
